We travelled around the city of Bangalore, assembling and dismantling a mannequin, photographing ‘her’ in different spaces. The idea was to throw light on the perception of women as objects, as subjects of violence, as beings who are often made to feel a lack of a sense of agency. And yet, it was to also find ways of subverting this very same narrative as a form of protest against voices that attempt to seize our freedom.
